Held every other month, these classes are arranged to give participants a hands on experience on the intricacies of making dim sum dishes that are enjoyed in the Taipan restaurant daily.
The 9th February 2005 signified the arrival of a new chinese year, the year of the rooster. In order to celebrate this festival, Taipan had organised a special evening that not only offered a taste of the traditional new year dishes but also the entertainment that is customary in Asia. This included the traditional lion dance (seen in picture ).
